The Karnataka Cancer Hospital is equipped with modern, aseptic, and a fully furnished OPERATION THEATRE which will enable highly qualified surgical oncologists to perform all major and complicated surgical oncological (procedures successfully. The operation theatre is equipped with, apart from routine, HARMONIC SCALPEL, CUSA (CAVITRON ULTRASONIC ASPIRATOR), RADIOFREQUENCY ABLATOR, ON TABLE COLONOSCOPY AND ERCP AND PROVISION FOR INTRA OPERATIVE CHOLANGIOGRAM AND IITV.

There are separate, dedicated LAPROSCOPY SUITE to perform major LAPROSCOPIC PROCEDURES LIKE. COLONIC RESECTIONS, LOW ANTERIOR RESECTIONS, ABDOMINOPERINEAL RESECTIONS, WERTHEIMS HYSTERECTOMY, PELVICLYMPH NODE RESECTIONS, RADICAL CYSTECTOMES, THORACPSCOPIC ESOPHAGECTOMIES ETC.

The department is backed by experienced and dedicated team of surgical oncologists who would strive to achieve excellence in their respective fields to give maximum results. The team is well supported by experienced and well trained nursing staff and paramedical staff and a separate Post-op ICU WITH VENTILATORS.

Chemotherapy And Hematology

KARNATAKA CANCER HOSPITAL is equipped with all modern day instruments, monitors equipments and infusors to administer all kinds of chemotherapy –Day care as well as inpatient to treat all hemotological malignancies including Leukemia and Lymphomas.

There are full time dedicated medical oncologists and hematologists to take care of all issues related to medical oncology.

Radiation Therapy Unit

The department of Radiation Therapy is equipped with a brand new and state of the art. LINEAR ACCELERATOR- Siddarth Iconic plus II from Panacea medical technology Bangalore.

These features provides for precision, accuracy and success in planning and delivering radiotherapy for the patients. It saves time and reduces the “dose to normal structures” and thus improves treatment results.
